Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 Pounds Baby Carrots
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Honey
- 1 teaspoon Orange Zest
- 1/2 Cup Orange Juice
- 2 Tablespoons Butter (salted)
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 4 teaspoons Corn Starch
- 1/4 cup Water (cold)
Instruction
- In a 3 quart slow cooker, combine the brown sugar, honey, orange zest, orange juice, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt, stirring to combine.
- Fold in the carrots.
- Cook on low until carrots are tender, about 3-4 hours.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water until smooth. Open the slow cooker lid and slowly stir in the slurry.
- Cook an additional 1-2 hours or until tender and thickened.
