Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 onions (chopped)
- 6 cloves garlic (minced)
- 12 oz tomato paste
- 112 oz whole tomatoes (4 28-oz cans, undrained)
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1-2 teaspoons kosher salt
- fresh ground black pepper
- Parmesan cheese for serving
Instruction
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add onions and garlic and saute until garlic is fragrant and onions are softened.
- Add tomato paste, tomatoes, bay leaves, sugar, salt and black pepper to slow cooker. Top with onion garlic mixture. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Makes enough to sauce 4 pounds of pasta!
