Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 6 pound whole chicken (about 5-6 pounds.)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion Powder
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary (fresh or dried)
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 lemon (sliced)
  • 1 onion (sliced (optional))

Instruction

  • Remove the plastic baggie of neck, etc from inside the chicken.
  • Mix your spices together in a small bowl and rub the whole outside of the chicken with spice mixture.
  • Stuff the cavity of the chicken with lemon slices and onion slices.
  • Place the chicken in the slow cooker and cover.
  • Cook on low for 8-10 hours or 4-6 hours on high until meat thermometer reads 180 F.
