Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 28 oz Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1/2 small Yellow Onion (diced)
  • 1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 Tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 Tsp Celery Seed
  • 1/8 Tsp Ground Allspice

Instruction

  • Place all the ingredients in the bowl of a slow cooker. Stir until all the ingredients are well combined.
  • Set the slow cooker to LOW and cook uncovered until the ketchup has reduced and thickened, approximately 6 to 7 hours.
  • Using an immersion blender or food processor, purée the ketchup to your desired consistency.
  • Place the ketchup in resealable jars or other containers. Let the ketchup cool completely, then seal and refrigerate.
