Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 20 oz container refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 14.5 oz can petite diced tomatoes
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 lb ground mild Italian sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese (cut in 1 oz chunks)
  • 4 oz baby spinach

Instruction

  • In a medium skillet, brown the sausage, breaking it a part with a wooden spoon.  
  • In a slow cooker, add tortellini, tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, and cooked sausage. Stir to combine.
  • Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
  • Add cream cheese and stir gently. Allow the cream cheese to melt into the broth for a few minutes.
  • Add spinach and stir gently. Allow spinach to wilt and cook for a few minutes. Serve in soup bowls.
