Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 20 oz container refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 14.5 oz can petite diced tomatoes
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 lb ground mild Italian sausage
- 8 oz cream cheese (cut in 1 oz chunks)
- 4 oz baby spinach
Instruction
- In a medium skillet, brown the sausage, breaking it a part with a wooden spoon.
- In a slow cooker, add tortellini, tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, and cooked sausage. Stir to combine.
- Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
- Add cream cheese and stir gently. Allow the cream cheese to melt into the broth for a few minutes.
- Add spinach and stir gently. Allow spinach to wilt and cook for a few minutes. Serve in soup bowls.
