Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 1/2 cups half-and-half
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter, (cut into pieces)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, (cut into pieces)
  • 2 pounds frozen corn

Instruction

  • Mix together half-and-half, cornstarch, sugar, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes in a 6-quart slow cooker.
  • Add butter, cream cheese, and frozen corn. Mix together
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours, stirring a few times during that time. It will thicken more as it cools.
