Ingredients
The following ingredients have 7 Servings
- ½ yellow onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 (15 oz) cans whole kernel sweet corn, drained
- 1 cup milk
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 stick unsalted butter, cut into tablespoons
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1-2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Instruction
- Heat olive oil in a small skillet over medium-high heat and sauté onion until translucent; add garlic and sauté until fragrant, 1 minute. Transfer to slow cooker.
- Add corn, milk, sugar salt, pepper, stir to combine. Add cream cheese and butter to slow cooker, do not stir. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours.
- Remove cover and stir to combine ingredients. Continue cooking for 10-15 minutes.
- Transfer to serving dish or serve directly from slow cooker. Enjoy!
