Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 32 oz. frozen tater tots or potato gems
  • 1.5 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts (diced) (This is about 2 large chicken breasts)
  • 10 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled (divided))
  • 21 oz. cream of chicken soup ((two 10.5-oz. cans))
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 small yellow onion (diced)
  • 8 oz. shredded sharp cheese ((2 cups))
  • 1/4 cup green onions

Instruction

  • Place half of the tater tots in the bottom of the slow cooker. Spread them out so they are an even layer.
  • Add the cubed chicken in a layer over the tots. Sprinkle over half of the bacon.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, milk, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and diced onion.
  • Pour this mixture over the tots, chicken and bacon.
  • Add remaining tots, arrange them neatly if desired.
  • Sprinkle over the cheese.
  • Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 5 hours without opening the lid during the cooking time.
  • When the cooking time is done add the remaining bacon and sprinkle over the green onion.
