Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 32 oz. frozen tater tots or potato gems
- 1.5 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts (diced) (This is about 2 large chicken breasts)
- 10 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled (divided))
- 21 oz. cream of chicken soup ((two 10.5-oz. cans))
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 small yellow onion (diced)
- 8 oz. shredded sharp cheese ((2 cups))
- 1/4 cup green onions
Instruction
- Place half of the tater tots in the bottom of the slow cooker. Spread them out so they are an even layer.
- Add the cubed chicken in a layer over the tots. Sprinkle over half of the bacon.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, milk, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and diced onion.
- Pour this mixture over the tots, chicken and bacon.
- Add remaining tots, arrange them neatly if desired.
- Sprinkle over the cheese.
- Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 5 hours without opening the lid during the cooking time.
- When the cooking time is done add the remaining bacon and sprinkle over the green onion.
