Ingredients
The following ingredients have 5 Servings
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cans black beans (rinsed and drained)
- 16 oz Bottle of Salsa Verde
- 1 can Corn
- 1/2 tablespoon Cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- slices Lime/Lemon
- leaves Cilantro/Parsley
- Tomato (chopped)
Instruction
- In a slow cooker place the chicken breasts on the bottom
- Add the corn and black beans
- Add the cumin, garlic, salt and pepper
- Pour the salsa verde on top. Mix
- Cook on high for 4-5 hours
- When ready, remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred using 2 forks
- Place the chicken back in the slow cooker and mix with the sauce
- Serve on top of rice or with tortillas
- Top with fresh veggies and herbs if desired
