Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 1 whole rotisserie chicken (meat shredded, skin and bones discarded)
  • 10 cups crumbled cornbread
  • 8 slices day old bread, (torn into large pieces)
  • 1½ cups onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 4 tsp dried sage
  • 2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 (14.5-oz) can chicken broth
  • 2 (10.5-oz) cans cream of chicken
  • 1 (10.5-oz) can cream of mushroom

Instruction

  • In a large bowl, combine crumbled cornbread, bread slices, onion, celery, sage, thyme, salt, pepper, eggs, cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, and chicken broth.
  • Stir in chopped rotisserie chicken.
  • Transfer mixture to slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours or HIGH for 3 hours.
