Ingredients

The following ingredients have 9 Servings
  • 3 (15.25 ounce) cans whole kernel corn, drained (or 4-1/2 cups frozen)
  • 1-1/4 cups half and half or whole milk
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, sliced
  • 1 (8 ounce) block cold cream cheese, cubed

Instruction

  • Add corn to a 4-quart slow cooker and stir in half and half, sugar, salt and pepper.
  • Top with butter and cream cheese.
  • Cover and cook on low 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally, or until nicely thickened. Before serving, stir, taste, and adjust salt and pepper as needed.
