Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 500 g boneless chicken (breast or thighs)
  • 125 ml red hot sauce (sugar-free)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp fresh dill (1/2 tsp dried dill)
  • 110 g cream cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • large leaf lettuce (romaine, bib, butter, red, green)
  • chopped celery
  • chopped cucumber
  • red onion finely diced
  • chopped green onions (optional)
  • red hot sauce
  • crumbled cheese (goat, blue, gorgonzola, etc)

Instruction

  • Add all the ingredients for the buffalo chicken into your slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW heat for 4-6 hours.
  • When the chicken is done, shred the chicken and mix it together with the sauce in the slow cooker. An electric hand mixer, food processor, or blender can be used to easily shred the chicken.
  • Let the chicken cool for a few minutes and then assemble the lettuce wraps. Top the lettuce wraps with chopped fresh vegetables, hot sauce, and crumbled cheese. Enjoy!
