Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 medium red potato, (diced)
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 pound pulled pork
- 1 medium sweet onion, (chopped)
- 1 garlic clove, (minced)
- 1 1/2 cups frozen lima beans
- 1 1/2 cups frozen corn
- 1 1/2 cups frozen sliced okra
- 1 cup BBQ sauce, (I use Sweet Baby Rays)
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (14-ounce) can diced tomatoes, (undrained)
Instruction
- Place the potato in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 3 to 4 minutes or until partially cooker. Note: This step is necessary because potatoes take a much longer time to cook in the slow cooker than the other ingredients.
- Combine all ingredients in a 6-quart or larger slow cooker. Stir to mix.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 5 hours.
