Ingredients
The following ingredients have 5 Servings
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 (14-ounce) cans light coconut milk
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups cubed apples
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons coconut butter
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch of cardamom
- for topping: toasted almonds,
- 1 1/2 cups pure maple syrup
Instruction
- Spray your slow cooker with nonstick spray. Stir all ingredients together in the slow cooker and set on low for 6 to 8 hours. Stir once or twice if you can. If not, the mixture might stick to the edges a bit. Serve hot with extra milk drizzled on top and a variety of toppings!
- You can store this in the fridge for a few days and reheat with a bit of milk.
