Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 1 pound ground beef or bulk Italian sausage
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 28-oz cans diced tomatoes undrained
- 2 6-oz cans tomato paste
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tsp Louisiana hot sauce
- 6 garlic Cloves
- 1 teaspoon dried basil (up to 2 teaspoons)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano (up to 2 teaspoons)
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (up to 1 teaspoon)
- spaghetti cooked, hot
Instruction
- In a skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink: drain. Transfer to a slow cooker. Add the next 11 ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until heated through. Discard bay leaf. Serve over spaghetti. Yield:6-8 servings
