Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 1 pound ground beef or bulk Italian sausage
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 28-oz cans diced tomatoes undrained
  • 2 6-oz cans tomato paste
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Louisiana hot sauce
  • 6 garlic Cloves
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil (up to 2 teaspoons)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano (up to 2 teaspoons)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (up to 1 teaspoon)
  • spaghetti cooked, hot

Instruction

  • In a skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink: drain. Transfer to a slow cooker. Add the next 11 ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until heated through. Discard bay leaf. Serve over spaghetti. Yield:6-8 servings
