Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 lb chicken breasts (cut into 1-inch pieces (about 2 breasts))
- kosher salt (to taste)
- black pepper (to taste)
- juice and zest of one orange
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated (about a 1" piece))
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (plus more for garnish)
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- cooked rice, noodles, sesame seeds, and sliced green onions (for serving (optional))
Instruction
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper and sauté on medium-high in a large skillet until fully cooked through (about 5 minutes).
- Meanwhile, whisk together all remaining ingredients in a small bowl or measuring cup.
- Remove the cooked chicken to a plate.
- Add the sauce to the skillet and continue to heat on medium-high, stirring with the whisk, until thickened (about three minutes).
- Add the chicken back into the skillet and stir to cover in sauce.
- Serve chicken on brown rice with green onions and more sesame seeds, if desired.
