Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (reduced-fat)
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 ounces semisweet chocolate (coarsely chopped)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened Dutch-process )
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup lowfat buttermilk
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line am 8x8 with aluminum foil and lightly spray with cooking spray. Set aside.
  • To make the Cheesecake Layer: Beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy for about one minute. Beat in sugar and vanilla until smooth. Lastly beat in the egg until smooth. Set aside.
