Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 pound ground chicken or turkey
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 25 ounce jar spaghetti sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 ounces uncooked spaghetti noodles
  • optional: grated parmesan and fresh herbs for topping

Instruction

  • Combine first 7 ingredients in a bowl and mix until just combined.
  • Form into 14-16 meatballs.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear meatballs, rotating every minute.
  • Add sauce to pan. Fill jar 2/3 full with water. Shake the jar and add liquid to the pan. (If you’re using homemade sauce, just add 2 cups water).
  • Clear space in the middle of the pan between the meatballs. Break noodles in half and add to the pan. Cover and let simmer for 8 minutes.
  • Stir, cover and cook 8-10 minutes more or until pasta reaches desired doneness.
  • Top with cheese and fresh herbs before serving.
