Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 4 large sausages of your choosing
- 2 cups baby spinach
- 1 cup cremini mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 4 small apples (sliced in half)
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- 2 tbsp. white wine vinegar
- Cooking fat
- Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instruction
- Heat the cooking fat in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the apples cut side down. Pan sear, occasionally turning until golden brown, about 5 to 6 minutes.
- Add the sausages, onion, and mushrooms to the skillet with the apples. Cook, occasionally turning, for about 8 to 10 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken stock and white wine vinegar, and whisk while making sure to scrape the bottom of the skillet. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Add the spinach and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until wilted, and serve immediately.
