Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 1 can (13 oz. canned chicken)
  • 3/4 c. chicken stock
  • 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. parsley
  • 1/8 tsp. paprika
  • 3/4 c. milk (divided)
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • Minute® Ready to Serve Brown Rice or Minute® Ready to Serve Multi-Grain Medley
  • Pineapple tidbits
  • Chow Mein noodles
  • Green onion (chopped top to bottom)
  • Cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • Tomatoes (diced)
  • Olives (sliced)

Instruction

  • In a small saucepan, bring chicken stock 1/4 c. of milk, and seasonings to a boil. Boil for just over a minute.  
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the remaining milk and flour together. Add to the boiling mixture on the stovetop and continue to whisk briskly until mixture starts to boil. Continue to let it boil until it thickens. Add in canned chicken.
  • Heat Minute® Ready to Serve Brown Rice or Minute® Ready to Serve Multi-Grain Medley for 60 seconds, then assemble haystack with desired toppings. Enjoy!
