Ingredients

The following ingredients have 1 Servings
  • 2 pounds red potatoes (scrubbed)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instruction

  • Place red potatoes in a large pan and cover with water.
  • Bring to a boil and cook for 20-25 minutes until very tender.
  • Remove from heat and drain remaining water from the potatoes.
  • Using a potato masher, begin to mash potatoes, but do not mash until smooth.
  • Add in butter, salt, pepper, and milk. Stir until all is well-combined.
  • Serve warm.
