- 2 pounds red potatoes (scrubbed)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
Instruction
- Place red potatoes in a large pan and cover with water.
- Bring to a boil and cook for 20-25 minutes until very tender.
- Remove from heat and drain remaining water from the potatoes.
- Using a potato masher, begin to mash potatoes, but do not mash until smooth.
- Add in butter, salt, pepper, and milk. Stir until all is well-combined.
- Serve warm.
