Ingredients

The following ingredients have 1 Servings
  • 3 ripe Hass avocados
  • 1 Tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon freshly-squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup diced plum tomatoes (about 3 tomatoes)
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion (chopped, or white onion)
  • 1/4 cup cilantro (chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (if desired)

Instruction

  • Cut avocados in half and scoop pulp into a bowl.
  • Mash avocado pulp with a fork and mix in 1 Tablespoon lemon juice.
  • Add tomatoes, onion, and cilantro to the bowl.
  • Sprinkle with salt.
  • Add cayenne pepper, if using.
  • Sprinkle 1 teaspoon lemon juice over the top.
  • Gently stir to combine.
