Ingredients

The following ingredients have 24 Servings
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • food coloring (optional)
  • 2 sticks butter (softened)
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 6-8 tbsp heavy cream (or milk)
  • 1 bag candy coated chocolate eggs
  • chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Instruction

  • Prepare cake according to package directions, making cupcakes. Use food coloring to color cake however you'd like. Let cool completely.
  • To prepare frosting, beat butter, powdered sugar and cream in a stand or electric mixer until smooth. Frost on cooled cupcakes. Top centers with chocolate shavings and top with 3 candy eggs.
