Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 1 pound(s) shrimp, raw shrimp
  • 1 can(s) fake beer or real beer, any kind for steaming shrimp
  • 1/2 cup(s) Old Bay seasoning
  • FOR THE SALAD
  • 1 package(s) elbow macaroni, cooked according to package
  • 2 stick(s) celery, chopped
  • 1/2 small onion, cut and diced
  • 3 - 4 tablespoon(s) Old Bay, again more or less according to taste
  • 1 - 1 1/2 cup(s) mayonnaise, more or less depending on how creamy you want it

Instruction

  • Steam shrimp. If you have a rice steamer, great. If you have an insert for a pan, that will work. Put the beer in a pot in place of water along with Old Bay seasoning.
  • Add the steamer basket and fill it with shrimp. Cut up some onions and add. Cover with a lid. Place the pot on the stovetop. Cook shrimp until pink (should be about 8 to 10 minutes on medium).
  • When done, peel the shrimp and cut them into two.
  • Now for the salad, add shrimp to cooled cooked pasta and the remaining ingredients.
  • Mix well and cool in the fridge.
