Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 10oz (300gr) shrimp (prawns), cleaned
  • 8 green garlic (or green onion), sliced, including green
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • 1 tbs butter
  • 8oz (250gr) fresh gnocchi
  • 3 tbs pesto
  • 3 tbs fresh, chopped chives

Instruction

  • Cook gnocchi in boiling water just until it floats, 1 – 2 minutes.
  • Drain and immediately put in a hot skillet, big enough to hold it all in a single layer.
  • Add 1 tbs olive and toss to coat. Fry over medium heat, tossing frequently, until lightly browned, 6 – 8 minutes
  • Sauté green garlic and shrimp in remaining 1 tbs olive oil and butter in another skillet until tender, 6 – 8 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • When gnocchi is ready remove from heat and combine with shrimp / green garlic in the larger skillet.
  • Add pesto, chives and stir to combine. Serve.
