Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 ½ cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 1 ½ cups milk ((I use 2%))
- ¾ cup quick grits ((see note))
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt (more to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper (more to taste)
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese (more or less to taste)
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 pound jumbo peeled and deveined shrimp, (thawed)
- Half of a large onion (diced)
- 6 garlic cloves, (minced or pressed)
- ¼ cup dry white wine ((see note))
- 1 15-ounce can crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper (more or less to taste)
- ¾ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¾ teaspoon dried oregano
- ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
