Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1/2 cup(s) butter
- 1 1/2 pound(s) shrimp
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) minced garlic
- 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 2 - scallions, chopped
- 1 pound(s) angel hair pasta
- 1 cup(s) reserved pasta water
- 4 tablespoon(s) butter, sliced
- - salt and pepper. to taste
- - additonal Old Bay seasoning and buttter, if desired
- 1 - lemon, sliced (for garnish and to squeeze over cooked pasta)
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) parsley flakes
Instruction
- Melt butter and pour in a marinade bowl or plastic bag.
- Add shrimp, Old Bay seasoning, and garlic to the shrimp in the bag/bowl. Marinate for 1/2 hour.
- Chop scallions. Saute in olive oil until soft.
- Drain shrimp and discard marinade. Add shrimp to scallions and cook until the shrimp turn pink.
- Cook pasta as directed on the package. Drain pasta reserving a cup of pasta water.
- Add reserved pasta water to shrimp and scallions.
- Put drained pasta into shrimp and scallions. Add a few pats of extra butter, a sprinkle of Old Bay seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Squeeze lemon juice over top
- Garnish with lemon slices and parsley flakes. Enjoy.
