Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/2 cup(s) butter
  • 1 1/2 pound(s) shrimp
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 2 - scallions, chopped
  • 1 pound(s) angel hair pasta
  • 1 cup(s) reserved pasta water
  • 4 tablespoon(s) butter, sliced
  • - salt and pepper. to taste
  • - additonal Old Bay seasoning and buttter, if desired
  • 1 - lemon, sliced (for garnish and to squeeze over cooked pasta)
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) parsley flakes

Instruction

  • Melt butter and pour in a marinade bowl or plastic bag.
  • Add shrimp, Old Bay seasoning, and garlic to the shrimp in the bag/bowl. Marinate for 1/2 hour.
  • Chop scallions. Saute in olive oil until soft.
  • Drain shrimp and discard marinade. Add shrimp to scallions and cook until the shrimp turn pink.
  • Cook pasta as directed on the package. Drain pasta reserving a cup of pasta water.
  • Add reserved pasta water to shrimp and scallions.
  • Put drained pasta into shrimp and scallions. Add a few pats of extra butter, a sprinkle of Old Bay seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Squeeze lemon juice over top
  • Garnish with lemon slices and parsley flakes. Enjoy.
