Ingredients

The following ingredients have 10 Servings
  • 2 Cups Biscuit Mix (Or Gluten Free Biscuit Mix)
  • 1/4 Cup Butter (softened)
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2/3 cup Milk
  • 4 oz Cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 3 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • Jam (of your choice)
  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Milk

Instruction

  • Preheat Oven to 450 Degrees F
  • In bowl mix Biscuit mix, 1/4 cup butter, 2 tbsp sugar and 2/3 cup milk until dough forms let sit.
  • In another bowl beat together cream cheese, egg yolk, 3 Tbsp Sugar and vanilla.
  • Drop biscuit mix by rounded Tablespoonfuls onto parchment lined baked sheet.
  • Create a well in the middle of the dough with the back of your spoon.
  • Spoon 1 tsp of cream cheese mix and 1/2 tsp of jam of your choice in the center. You may just use cheese or jam if you prefer. Repeat this with each danish.
  • Leave a couple inches of space between each one on the baking sheet to allow for spreading.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes at 450 Degrees or until golden brown.
  • While cooling whisk together 1 cup powdered sugar and 1-2 TBSP of milk until icing forms. Drizzle over danish and serve.
