- ½ cup mirin
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 6 Tablespoons water
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 8- ounce can sliced bamboo shoots (drained, rinsed, and patted dry)
