- 1/2 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt (to taste)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 yellow onion
- 1 large red bell pepper
- 6 tomatoes on a vine
- 4 garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (more or less per taste)
- 1 tsp cumin
- salt (to taste)
