  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 3/4 lb (340 g) beef top sirloin, cut into strips
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp (45 ml) vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, seeded and julienned
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced, white and green parts separated
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, chopped
  • 1/2 lb (225 g) snow peas, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
