Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 pork chops or pork shoulder blade steaks
  • 2 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Ingredients for salsa:
  • 1 avocado (pitted and diced)
  • 1 large tomato (seeded and diced)
  • 1/3 cup cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 1/4 yellow onion (finely chopped)
  • pickled or fresh jalapeno to taste (chopped (optional))
  • salt to taste

Instruction

  • In a small bowl, mix all the dry seasonings in the pork ingredients and set aside.
  • Use a paper towel to pat dry the pork chop then rub both sides with olive oil. Generously season both side of the meat and air fry at 380F (190C) for 10-12 minutes, flip once in the middle, until the internal temperature exceeds 145F (63C).
  • In the mean time, combine all the ingredients in for the salsa in a large bowl.
  • When the pork chops are done, let them rest for a few minutes. Scoop some salsa over the pork chops to serve.
