Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 pound(s) cod fillet's
- 1/4 cup(s) butter
- 1 - 2 clove(s) garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup(s) flour
- paprika - for flour & garnish
- kosher - salt & fresh cracked black pepper
- 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Salt & pepper your fish. On a plate, mix desired salt, pepper and paprika with flour. In a microwave proof bowl, add butter and garlic. Microwave approx 30 seconds or until butter is melted. Add lemon juice.
- Dip fish pieces one at a time in the butter mixture, then dip in flour mixture and place on a shallow baking sheet.
- Once all are breaded, pour remaining butter mixture over fish and bake for 30 minutes or until fish is starting to become golden and flaky. I lightly sprinkled with a little more paprika and kosher salt, before serving.
- Serve with your favorite tarter sauce and some lemon wedges, in my case I tried Jeanne Gliddon's delicious home made tarter sauce. I will include the link to her recipe in the comments section of this recipe. It was superb!
