Ingredients
The following ingredients have 2 Servings
- 500 g/ 1.1 lbs asparagus
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves (grated)
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Instruction
- Clean the asparagus, pat it dry and snap off the woody ends. Use the ends to make asparagus stock.
- Cut the asparagus into pieces, about 4-5 cm/1.6-2.3 inch long.
- Heat the olive oil in a cast-iron skillet or another large pan. Add the asparagus and fry it, stirring often, for about 3-4 minutes.
- In the meantime, grate the garlic and the ginger and give them to a small bowl.
- Add the soy sauce and the Worcestershire sauce. Stir well.
- Add the sauce to the pan and continue cooking, stirring all the time, for about 2 minutes or until the asparagus is done to your liking. It should definitely still retain a good bite.
- Stir in the sesame oil and serve immediately.
