Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 tsp rapeseed or sunflower oil
- 8 good quality sausages
- 1 onion, (chopped)
- 1-2 cloves garlic, (chopped)
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 6 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp honey
- 200 ml water
- 400 g can cannelloni beans ((or navy beans))
- 400 g can borlotti beans ((pinto beans))
- parsley, to garnish ((optional))
Instruction
- Heat oven to 190℃ (180℃ fan)/375°F / gas mark 5
- Heat the oil in a pan and brown the sausages. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Add the onion to the pan and cook gently until beginning to soften; about 5 minutes. Add the garlic.
- Stir in the paprika, add the remaining ingredients and bring gently to the boil, stirring until well blended. Pour into oven proof dish.
- Place the sausages on top of the beans and bake for 20 minutes. Serve sprinkled with parsley if desired.
