Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons picante sauce
  • 2 teaspoons parsley
  • 1 package Pillsbury crescent roll dough sheet
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Instruction

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Fry the sausage and onion in a frying pan; drain.
  • Add the remaining ingredients (except for the dough and butter), stir, and let cool.
  • Roll the crescent roll dough to ¼-inch thick.
  • Spread the meat mixture over the dough.
  • Roll it up like a jelly roll.
  • Transfer the roll to a cookie sheet.
  • Brush the top with melted butter.
  • Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the sausage roll from the oven.
  • Slice it before serving.
