Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 cups quinoa pasta
- 2 medium fresh Italian sausage
- 1 tsbp olive oil
- 2/3 cup homemade tomato sauce or any other tomato sauce of your preference
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 3 tbsp Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ground black pepper
Instruction
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
- Cook quinoa pasta at a boil until tender yet firm, about 8 minutes; drain.
- In a large skillet, cook the hot Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. It will take about 10-15 minutes.
- Add the quinoa pasta and homemade tomato sauce to the skillet. Stir well for 1 minute or so.
- If necessary, adjust seasoning and add more olive oil to add more flavor.
- Serve with a generous grinding of pepper, parsley and Parmesan cheese.
