Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 6 Italian sausages (mild or hot)
- 2 medium yellow onions (sliced)
- 3 pieces bell peppers (red, orange, yellow, cut into large)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instruction
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil on medium heat, add the sausages, and cook until brown on both sides
- Add the peppers, garlic, salt, pepper and onions, and cook until peppers and onions are soft and slightly brown.
- Reduce heat, add red pepper flakes, if using, and simmer until ready to serve, stirring frequently
- You can cut sausage into smaller pieces if desired
