Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 12 Sausages
- 2 onions (finely diced)
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 800 g tinned tomatoes
- 300 ml stock (I used beef stock)
- 40 g wild garlic (diced)
Instruction
- Cook the sausages in a large saucepan. Keep turning them until they are browned on all sides. It'll take about 8 minutes.
- Remove the sausages from the pan and set aside. Pour away any excess oil just leaving a little to cook the onions.
- Cook the onions gently over a low heat for about 5 minutes.
- Add the balsamic vinegar and stir. Cook for a couple of minutes.
- Add the tinned tomatoes, tomato puree, stock and about three quarters of the wild garlic.
- Bring to the boil then add the sausages and lower to a simmer. Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Scatter the rest of the wild garlic over the stew just before serving.
