Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- ½ Cup (sama rice (Washed and soaked in enough water for 30 minutes))
- 1/2 Cup (Sugar (you can add or less as per your taste))
- 1 Litre (Full Fat Milk)
- 10-12, Cashewnuts (chopped)
- 15-17, Raisins
- 10 to 12, Almonds (chopped)
- Few Saffron strands (soaked in 2 tbsp warm milk - optional)
- 2-3 drops of kewra essence
Instruction
- In a heavy bottom pan, add milk and turn on the gas.
- When the milk starts boiling, add sama rice and reduce the flame to medium and cook till sama rice is cooked and the mixture becomes thick.
- Now add sugar, soaked saffron strands, half of dry fruits and cook for another 5 to 7 minutes. Add kewra essence remove it from heat.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with the remaining dry fruits and serve warm or chilled.
