Ingredients

The following ingredients have 1 Servings
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instruction

  • Heat the sugar and water in a heavy medium sized pot on medium-high heat. Do not stir.
  • When the sugar is dissolved and beginning to brown, begin to stir the sugar.
  • When the sugar becomes a pretty amber color, remove from the heat and whisk in the cream, followed by the butter and salt.
  • Pour into a glass jar and store in the refrigerator.
