Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1/4 cup plain flour
- 1/4 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp ground white pepper
- 3 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup oil for frying
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 2 dried chillies chopped *to taste *optional
- 2 spring onions *optional finely sliced
Instruction
- Combine flour and spices in a bowl.
- Cut chicken into 1cm strips and toss in flour mixture to coat.
- Heat a frypan and add enough oil to thinly cover the base.
- Fry chicken over a medium-high heat until golden.
- Just before removing, add garlic, chilli and spring onions to the pan and cook for one minute.
- Remove and drain on paper towels. While pan is still hot, fry some Asian greens with oyster or hoi sin sauce. Serve with rice.
