Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/2 cup onion (chopped;)
  • 1 1/2 pound green tomatillos (husk removed;)
  • 1/2 cup cilantro (chopped;)
  • 2 tbsp lime juice;
  • 2 jalapeño peppers (seeded and chopped;)
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Instruction

  • Cut the tomatillos lengthwise and roast them either on the grill or for about 6 minutes under the broiler until the skin is a little dark.
  • Put the roasted tomatillos, onion, cilantro, lime juice, and jalapeño in a blender or food processor.
  • Blend or process until you obtain a smooth puree.
  • Place in the refrigerator to cool and enjoy.
