Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1/2 cup onion (chopped;)
- 1 1/2 pound green tomatillos (husk removed;)
- 1/2 cup cilantro (chopped;)
- 2 tbsp lime juice;
- 2 jalapeño peppers (seeded and chopped;)
- Salt and pepper to taste.
Instruction
- Cut the tomatillos lengthwise and roast them either on the grill or for about 6 minutes under the broiler until the skin is a little dark.
- Put the roasted tomatillos, onion, cilantro, lime juice, and jalapeño in a blender or food processor.
- Blend or process until you obtain a smooth puree.
- Place in the refrigerator to cool and enjoy.
