Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 lb store-bought or homemade pizza dough
  • 1 (14 oz) jar pizza sauce
  • 10-12 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 15-20 salami slices
  • 1/4 medium red onion, sliced very thin
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup castelvetrano olives, pitted, sliced in half
  • olive oil, for brushing edges and pizza pan
  • everything Bagel Seasoning, recipe below
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • red pepper flakes, optional
  • 2 tsp poppy seeds
  • 2 tsp onion flakes
  • 2 tsp garlic flakes
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp coarse salt

Instruction

  • Heat oven to 500° F
  • Or as high as your oven will go
  • To make the everything bagel seasoning, mix all ingredients in a small bowl, set aside.Let the pizza dough come to room temperature for 30 minutes before stretching or rolling out onto a lightly floured surface with a rolling pin
  • When your dough is roughly 10 inches in diameter or ½ inch thick, place it on lightly oiled parchment paper on top of a baking sheet or sprinkled underneath with corn meal to prevent sticking, pizza pan, or pre-heated pizza stone
  • Spoon pizza sauce (to desired thin or thickness) onto dough leaving 1-inch of crust exposed around the edges
  • Cover the sauce with ¾ of the mozzarella cheese.Place the salami, onion, jalapeños, and olives onto the pizza
  • Sprinkle with remaining cheese
  • Brush edges of pizza with olive oil and sprinkle with the everything bagel seasoning.Place pizza in the oven for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown and the center of the crust is crispy
  • Remove from oven, drizzle with honey and sprinkle with red pepper flakes
  • Serve with extra honey for dipping the crust into.
