Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 lb store-bought or homemade pizza dough
- 1 (14 oz) jar pizza sauce
- 10-12 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 15-20 salami slices
- 1/4 medium red onion, sliced very thin
- 1 jalapeño, seeded, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup castelvetrano olives, pitted, sliced in half
- olive oil, for brushing edges and pizza pan
- everything Bagel Seasoning, recipe below
- 1/4 cup honey
- red pepper flakes, optional
- 2 tsp poppy seeds
- 2 tsp onion flakes
- 2 tsp garlic flakes
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp coarse salt
Instruction
- Heat oven to 500° F
- Or as high as your oven will go
- To make the everything bagel seasoning, mix all ingredients in a small bowl, set aside.Let the pizza dough come to room temperature for 30 minutes before stretching or rolling out onto a lightly floured surface with a rolling pin
- When your dough is roughly 10 inches in diameter or ½ inch thick, place it on lightly oiled parchment paper on top of a baking sheet or sprinkled underneath with corn meal to prevent sticking, pizza pan, or pre-heated pizza stone
- Spoon pizza sauce (to desired thin or thickness) onto dough leaving 1-inch of crust exposed around the edges
- Cover the sauce with ¾ of the mozzarella cheese.Place the salami, onion, jalapeños, and olives onto the pizza
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese
- Brush edges of pizza with olive oil and sprinkle with the everything bagel seasoning.Place pizza in the oven for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown and the center of the crust is crispy
- Remove from oven, drizzle with honey and sprinkle with red pepper flakes
- Serve with extra honey for dipping the crust into.
