Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 pounds Chicken Tenderloins
  • Oil (for deep frying)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan Cheese

Instruction

  • In a shallow bowl, add egg and buttermilk. Whisk to mix well.
  • In a separate shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, pepper, salt and paprika. Mix well.
  • Dip the chicken in the egg mixture. Turn to coat.
  • Let excess egg wash drip off. Then dip into flour mixture. Turn to coat fully.
  • Add oil to a large skillet or an electric skillet. Heat oil to 375°F.
  • Gently place the breaded chicken tenders into the hot oil. Fry chicken, a few pieces at a time, for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until chicken is no longer pink and has reached an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Remove chicken from oil to a paper towel-covered plate to drain.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Serve hot with a selection of dipping sauces.
