Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 cup Buttermilk
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
- 2 pounds Chicken Tenderloins
- Oil (for deep frying)
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan Cheese
Instruction
- In a shallow bowl, add egg and buttermilk. Whisk to mix well.
- In a separate shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, pepper, salt and paprika. Mix well.
- Dip the chicken in the egg mixture. Turn to coat.
- Let excess egg wash drip off. Then dip into flour mixture. Turn to coat fully.
- Add oil to a large skillet or an electric skillet. Heat oil to 375°F.
- Gently place the breaded chicken tenders into the hot oil. Fry chicken, a few pieces at a time, for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until chicken is no longer pink and has reached an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Remove chicken from oil to a paper towel-covered plate to drain.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Serve hot with a selection of dipping sauces.
