Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 4 pears (peeled and cored)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup sweet dessert wine
- 2 tablespoons honey (for drizzling)
- cream or ice cream for serving
- 1/2 vanilla bean
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Grease bottom of small roasting pan with butter. Cut remaining butter up into little bits. Place pears cut side down into dish and dot with the remaining butter. Drizzle a little of the honey over each pear. Pour the wine in the dish.
- Add the vanilla bean or stir in the vanilla extract.
- Roast for about 30 minutes and then baste with the juice. Continue roasting for another 30 minutes.
- Serve with ice cream or cream.
