Ingredients

The following ingredients have 8 Servings
  • 2 lbs fresh green beans (trimmed)
  • 1 tbsp canola oil or canola oil cooking spray
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (in the green can) (optional)

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 400°.
  • Place the trimmed green beans in a single layer on a cookie sheet. 
  • Toss or spray with canola oil until lightly coated. 
  • Season with salt and pepper. 
  • Roast at 400° for 10 minutes.
  • Shake pan to move the green beans around. At this point, sprinkle with garlic powder and parmesan cheese, if desired.
  • Roast for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the beans have reached the desired tenderness.
  • Serve immediately.
