The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 bunch asparagus, woody portion of stock removed, remaining portion cut in half
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, divided
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 400. In a baking dish, toss the asparagus with the olive oil.
- Sprinkle the garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste and half of the Parmesan cheese over the asparagus.
- Place the baking dish in the oven. Roast for 15 to 20 minutes until the asparagus is tender and beginning to brown. Check after 15 minutes to avoid over cooking. Cooking time will vary based on the thickness of the asparagus, at least 20 minutes is likely needed unless the asparagus is quite thin.
- Scoop the asparagus into a serving bowl, and toss with the remaining Parmesan. Serve and enjoy!
