Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 cups-Oats
- 2 cups-Organic Jaggery
- 1/2 cup-Black Sesame Seeds
- 2 tsp-Ghee
- 1/2 Cup-Roasted Almonds
Instruction
- Take a pan and add 1 tsp of ghee and roast the Oats in it till they are light brown in color and the raw smell disappears.
- Add black sesame seeds in the same bowl and let it roast for 1 minute. Remove the Oats and black sesame seeds and keep it in a bowl and let it cool.
- Chop the almonds into small pieces and keep it aside.
- Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan and roast almonds at a lower flame till they are light brown in color.
- Keep it aside in a bowl.
- Heat the pan and add 2 cups of jaggery in it and let it melt till you start seeing the bubbles.
- Once you see the bubbles in it add Oats, black sesame seeds, and roasted almonds and mix everything till it is well combined and switch off the gas.
- Take 2 big plates and grease a little with ghee on the flat side and spread the Chikki mixture on it.
- Cut it into small square pieces while it is hot.
- Store it in an airtight container once the Chikki cools down.
