The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup mild olive oil or melted coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine-grain sea salt
  • 2 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds ((either raw or toasted))
  • 4 firm but ripe peaches (halved and pitted)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder ((this is potent stuff so start with the lesser amount and add more to taste))
  • Seeds scraped from 1 vanilla bean (or 1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste)
  • Greek-style or regular plain yogurt, fresh ricotta, or vanilla ice cream
